Making a OSH Policy Program
Hello, I am fairly new to this group. But I am seeking advice on how I can make a whole OSH policy programme with little to no experience?
Thanks in advance.

#1 Do you have a WC Carrier or TPA? Some Insurance companies have excellent templates!
#2 They got this thing called GOOGLE. I use it all the time, but be careful you do not infringe on copyrights!
#3 Go to State OSHA sites. Oregon, Washington, Michigan, NC, and some Canadian Provinces are just examples. All their stuff is public domain!
#4 Network with other H&S pros! Join networks and groups, online and off I have called friends many many time in my career and NEVER been refused. We help each other! Local Safety and State Councils are great ways to meet people! I have met some weird H&S people, myself included, but we are all pretty nice/good gals and guys!
#5 Safety Consultants. I never charge if someone calls or emails to ask a question or my opinion. I am glad to help. Someone passed knowledge on to me, I do the same! That's the deal. If I help you all I ask is yo help someone else! If you are asking me to spend a lot of time or resources now that is another deal all together. A guy or gal has to make a living! There are others on this site that I know will assist. my email fitz@safetyfitz.com My phone number is on my website at

I second Tom's #1. Usually your insurance/WC carrier will have templates you can use. North Carolina Dept. of Labor has a lot of good materials, as well.
