Safety Knights

I used 99Designs for my Ferri Group logo years ago. I used a discount code from the Tim Ferriss podcast.

Since then, I’m super into using Canva for design projects and have made logos for my daughter’s various activities that look really pro!

A guy called me up and asked me a few questions to get to know me, and design my logo. Asked me for my ideas, which I told him. At the end he asked me where I went to college? I said, "Michigan State!" He then said, "Do you love the Spartans?" I said, "You bet your butt I do!" He told me he would get back with me on a couple concepts. The next day he sent me 5. I picked this one, and I love it! When I give someone my business card, if they know me, they always say, "You got your logo right for you! I would not have in but it is all you!" I live in Wisconsin and they love their Packers and Badgers! So I have fun with my logo!

These are all great ideas for places to look. It is kind of like retiring from being a fireman, I had to figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up. Still don't know lol

There is a company in Eunice, LA called Work Designs. They do logos, and sell safety supplies as well. I worked for one of their sister companies and they did all our uniform shirts, hats, and even had our logo on the hard hats as well.

We had made our own, but wanted a fresh look and ended up using a fellow veteran, Trevor Kinkade.

Take a look and see if his style matches yours. He also created my logo for my side project, TheVOB.io (which is kind of in limbo, so depending on where you go, it may still be the old logo).

I love that the designs have meaning and he gave 3 options to pick from to start and we altered from that.

I use www.hatchwise.com for logos. People from around the world compete for prize money that you put up. I put up $300 and the the additional fee to Hatchwise. I have had extremely good luck both times that I have used them. The first winner was from the Philippines and the second from Bulgaria. If you do not like a design you don’t have to pay but I was never unsatisfied.

You could check out fiverr- I found a great manga animation team who did some great work for pretty cheap
