TRIR and DART
Is it weird if the calculation ends up as the same rate? If all recordable are days away/restricted/transfer recordables that would make both rates the same correct? Or am I completely missing something

Yes, that's correct. DART is calculated by the number of cases that resulted in days away from work, restrictions, or transfers, so if all of your recordables are DART cases, then your numbers would be the same.

You are correct. However, I would recommend you put together a robust return to work policy if this is the case. Often your WC insurance carrier will help with this.
