How often do you use Spanish on the job?
If you never use Spanish is it because you don’t know the language, or because your workforce/contractors all speak English? Let me know in the comments 👇

Because I don’t know the language.

Both. I don’t know it well enough to use it, but have also never needed it enough. I’ve remained in the US for my industry, which has continued to require candidates to speak English. Although, I have struggled with employees whom could speak, but not write in English. This was typically overcome by allowing them to dictate written statements.

I have used it on several occasions, but know that I get really rusty on the speaking part when I am not using on a regular occasion. It came in handy in my previous career, and was a nice carry over. But I haven't had a real need to use it of late.

I don’t use because i don’t know the language. My workforce is around 50% Spanish speaking

I barely know enough to get through the basics. I took Spanish in school and have retained some, but my pronunciation is terrible and you have to speak to me like I’m a child if you want me to understand what you’re saying.
We have many non-English speakers, but most do not speak Spanish.
I usually just have a translator present. If there is someone that understands you and Spanish they can more than likely translate for you.
