Hiring SSHO (Contractor-DOD)

In the Frederick Maryland area if you are looking to get into supporting a Diverse Workforce as a Contractor working on a Government Installation.
EM-385-1-1, OSHA 1926, a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Execute contract requirements per EM-385-1-1 and 29 CFR 1926.16 and the following referenced standards: 29 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) 1910, Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry, 29 CFR 1926, Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Construction, 26 Feb, 1980, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.236-13, Accident Prevention, Nov 1991, Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 6055.1, DOD Safety and Occupational Health Program, 14 Oct 2014, Army Regulation (AR) 40-5, Preventive Medicine, AR 385-10, Army Safety Program


• Minimum of five (5) years of continuous safety experience in supervising or managing general industry/construction/O&M, including managing safety programs or processes, or conducting hazard analyses and developing controls.

• 8-hours of formal safety & health related training per year.
• Excellent communication skills: ability to convey information effectively in writing and in presentations or speeches to other employees.
• Completion of OSHA 30-hour General Industry course
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
