Question
I have been working as an intern for 3 months and have compiled a list of issues that could be addressed over time. I am not trying to stress out the already encumbered supervisors but feel they should see my findings. How should I approach this? Have any of you had an issue like this?

I would compile the recommendations and rank them based on risk. Give them an action list to start with so they are aware of your concerns. You may want to offer suggestions on what to fix in near term (short lead time items, lower cost, higher impact, or largest risk) or long term (longer lead items, more expensive, lower impact, or smaller risk).

Have you tried working with your supervisor on them? Like Adam said, it would probably be a good idea to prioritize and present to management like that. If this facility has a rough safety program making change can be hard, but chip away over time and eventually you’ll see the results

I have not encountered this directly from your perspective but if I were on the receiving end I would welcome the insight. I certainly like Adams' post below about prioritizing the ideas. I believe one of the best practices for items like this is to get an outsiders view and many times things come to light that were not seen by the person with home court advantage.
