Spot the Citation
Good morning/afternoon guys/gals,
I take a lot of picture at my intern which I personally feel have safety issues. Can you spot them?

This is the place to share them! I honestly like that they have the label with the hazard classifications on there, it shows they at least care a little bit. I would question the compatibility of the cutting oil with the repurposed water bottle. I’m sure nothing is going to melt, but surely the water bottle will degrade over time and soon you’ll have cutting oil everywhere

The label is on there but it is not very legible. This would be a HAZCOM citation regarding labelling. I would also transfer this cutting oil to another type of plastic bottle as it could seep out from the water bottle. I would also place this in a designated storage area because it could get knocked down and then you have oil everywhere creating a slip hazard. Also, I would make sure that really is cutting oil. I get a little worried about defaced and dirty labels because it could have been slapped on there for a long time and employees are just putting whatever in there for temporary storage. Lastly, housekeeping needs improvement in the back and that equipment needs a deep cleaning, it looks like there is corrosion there. Very good one!

So question, those blue locks - are those LO/TO locks?
The innovation never fails to impress me. A lot of problems with this picture but I like to have an "inappropriate secondary container is half full" mentality, so my comment is kudos to them for even putting a label on it.

Antonio nailed it.
Grinder is disk down?
Straight to the point, the citation is, food containers are (believe the wording is) prohibited in the workplace. Reason for this prohibition is to prevent this from even happening if/when the label does fall off. For me - it pushes the boundaries of following company procedures. This could easily be prevented if the employee followed the rules and the employer should be providing proper containers in the first place. Reading the comments prior to posting is all the more reason "TRAINING" is a problem and identifies a GAP in safety management at this workplace.
If this is too hard-ass, then I'd be asking Management why they allow this behavior...

That water bottle is not an approved container for sure. The workstation needs to be cleaned up and organized as well.
