Welding Safety
I'm looking for publications AWS C5.5 - "Recommended Practices for Gas Tungsten Arc Welding“ and AWS C5.6 - "Recommended Practices for Gas Metal Arc Welding“.
Issue at hand: Witnessed a welder standing in water (over toes of their boot) after a hard rain, welding with a HeliArc Welder. The welder stated there was no danger with the water due to type of welding.
I do not claim to be a welder, so I'm looking for content to research. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

I would think since the word "Arc" comes into play, there is a chance of danger. I've only really seen it when the welder has wet gloves on. I''ll do some more digging with our site CWI.
