How long do aerosol particles stay airborne for?

Found this pretty interesting article today on how long aerosol particles stay airborne for:

Pretty interesting stuff to think about, especially for the industrial hygienists of the group. Couple numbers he cites:

-58 micron particle settles in 10 seconds
-7.4 micron particle settles in 10 minutes
-0.9 micron particle settles in 10 hours

For reference, respirable silica is less than 10 microns [1].
