Stack heights
Good afternoon all
I have a question about the storage specifications for HCSs as well as hazardous waste. I have come across a condition stating "Maximum height of stack is three times as high as it is wide at its narrowest part unless authority has been obtained from the local Department of Labour . (Max. H = 3 x shortest base distance)."- Does anyone know who I can contact at the Department of Labour regarding this? Thank you!

Where are you located? In the US, the term “stack height” usually refers to some sort of combustion process where the exhaust will go out the “stack”. If you’re just storing hazardous waste (and not combusting it) I don’t think this regulation would apply. Maybe you can link the page where you found this?
