Starting a new job next week!
I'm super stoked about my new job coming up next week. It's certainly a change moving from a food manufacturer to a tire manufacturer. However, one cannot truly grow within one’s comfort zone. Fortunately, safety has the same basic premise no matter where you go – do your best to help employees go home in the same condition in which they arrived at work.

Congratulations!!

That is awesome news! Congrats! What state are you in?

Wait you can eat tires right? It's the same thing....haha good luck!

Love to see it! Keep us posted on how things go, I think industry shifts are a great thing for safety pros to do.

Congratulations. As a consultant I find my myself beyond my comfort zone all the time. My comfort zone is in manufacturing, commodities , auto parts, and components in equipment for over 41 years, all OSHA 1910. As a consultant I have found myself working with bratwurst and hot dogs clients and cheese clients (I live in WI) which adds the FDA and others. I worked with a yacht and ship builder which took me into OSHA 1915 & 1917. I have also found a surprising difference in cultures going from the Public Corporate World, (with the SEC and stockholders) to smaller to medium companies that have one or two owners. Along the same lines, if they are self-funded in insurance (including WC) or not, and have insurance companies. Then there is the educational world as I teach at colleges and tech schools too, that is another Ball Game.
You feel like, "a duck out of water" sometimes but that keeps you on your toes, which what I love what do now. If I can assist let me know. have some fun too! Fitz

Congratulations!! Best of luck!
